You need to promote your websites and one of the most common ways people find web pages is through search engines. So in this section I'll go over a few different ways to get your site noticed by search engines. I'll also be going over a few other ways you can advertise for your site like directories, classifieds, social networks and so on.

ONLINE STORES

A great way to earn money online is to have your own products and services to sell in a store you manage. I'll show you a couple different places where you can set up stores quite easily depending on what types of products you want to offer. In this section I'll also show you a few examples of my own online stores. You control what you promote and, usually, you can at least decide how much commission you will make off of each sale. Unless of course you don't want a store system that's already set up for you, then all profits made are yours, if you set up and maintain your store on your own.

ONLINE AUCTIONS

Another way to sell your products is through online auctions, some of them will even allow you to create a storefront to sell multiple items and to keep customers coming back to you. Many of these sites have become online yard sales for the digital age. You can sell almost anything you want and you'll get a lot more eyes on your products than you would by tacking up a sign on a telephone pole. And like normal auctions, there's always the chance that you'll profit more than you had originally expected, depending on how many different people want your product. In this section I will take you step-by-step through the process it takes to get your items listed on these auctions and I will also show you examples of my own auctions if I have anything listed at the time.

PAID SURVEYS

A great way to make some cash on the side is through paid surveys. There are many different companies out there that will send you surveys and, in return for the time it took you to complete the survey, they'll pay you anywhere from $1 to up to $50 per survey if you qualify. In this section I will go over the handful of sites I use to make money taking surveys. All you need to do is input your personal information, fill out some profiles usually and then wait for surveys to start showing up in your email inbox. Sometimes the company will have a point system instead of cash, but it can still be redeemed as cash, and also some surveys are entries into sweepstakes for cash prizes; I usually only do the surveys that say I will definitely be paid.

A great way to advertise for your site would obviously be internet ads. In this section I will teach you about a couple different types of programs: 1. A program that allows you to make your own text ads for a small fee and then they are advertised over their huge network to millions of computer screens. 2. A program that allows you to make money displaying ads on your web pages for others products, services and websites. The first would help you promote your own website, products and services and the second would help you make money on the side whenever your page is viewed and whenever those viewing your site click the ads.

AFFILIATE NETWORKS

A great way to get more sales on your site is to set up an affiliate program. An affiliate program is an incentive program you set up enabling other people to promote your store, website, products or services to potential customers in return for a commission when they make a sale. This helps out a lot because you really can't do it all yourself if you want to be successful. If the incentives are right, you'll have tons of other people helping you promote whatever it is you're offering and you only had to set up this handy program. So they do the hard work and you get tons of advertising and sales. In this section I will talk about a few different companies you can sign up for that already have such systems set up for you, all you have to do is fill in the details. I will also go over ways that you yourself can become an affiliate for others and make money that way.

ONLINE PAYMENT PROCESSORS

No matter which way you decide to use to make money online, you're going to need some way of getting paid, unless of course you just get checks sent to you in the mail. Sure the checks can be nice but: 1. Mail's slow 2. You have to wait till the check clears 3. It could be a fake check or it could bounce. So in this section I will talk about a bunch of different online payment processors that make doing business online a lot easier and more efficient. This is a quicker option, it's more secure than snail mail and it will give you a way to keep track of your payments; whether you're receiving one or sending one. Most of these payment processors will enable you to receive credit card payments, this is very handy since that's the number one way to pay online, and also some will allow you to directly deposit and withdraw funds from your bank account.

AUTOSURFS (PAID TO SURF SITES)

Another great way to get traffic to your site is through autosurfs. They're sites where you login and input which pages you want to be viewed and then other people will autosurf and just watch pages as they reload automatically like commercials non-stop. That way you'll get a bunch of eyes looking at your site and what you're offering. You can either autosurf yourself and earn credits or you can buy credits and then allocate them to your sites you want viewed. Some sites are just the autosurf, but most now have a bonus; you can buy ad packs and become a paid member and then you earn a percentage on your member level (how much money you upgraded by). This enables you to make a 100+% return on your membership fee and you usually get other benefits too like being able to promote more sites. Now there's risk involved in becoming a paid member, but no matter what, your site will have a lot more traffic.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES

And lastly, in this section I will go over a few other ways to make money online. These usually end up taking longer to build up a profit but if you stick with them long enough they can be very beneficial.
